Shane Goodridge earned his BA from Simon Fraser University, completing a triple major in History, Archaeology & English, as well as his professional teaching credentials. He then earned his MA in History from the University of London. He has taught both Senior English and History in Canada, the United States and Great Britain. He has served on committees both in Canada and the United States mandated with curriculum reform and implementation.
Shane joined UCI in 2007. Currently he is a Lecturer teaching Advanced Composition for Teachers, Teaching and Learning Secondary History-Social Studies, and Social Science Methods Instruction. He is also supporting and supervising student teachers in secondary schools.
