Members of the "Careers in Teaching" Theme House hosted a "house-warming" dinner for residents, visitors, and guests from the Department of Education on April 16. Celebrating the completion of their move to a new location, participants enjoyed a pasta dinner and camaraderie during the evening gathering.
Staff from the Department of Education Student Affairs Office support two on-campus theme houses for students who are interested in exploring education issues and careers. House residents participate in program activities with university faculty and K-12 educators to enhance their knowledge about education and teaching in elementary, secondary, and higher education settings.
