UC Irvine's "Celebration of Teaching" Honors Outstanding Educators

Associate Professor Joseph Mahoney will receive the UC Irvine "Excellence in Undergraduate Education" award at UC Irvine's 16th annual Celebration of Teaching. Dr. Mahoney will accept his award representing the Department of Education. The awards dinner will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009, 4:30 to 6:30 pm, at the University Club.

Dr. Mahoney's teaches undergraduate through Ph.D. courses. His research interests include Child and Adolescent Social Development, Out-of-school Time, and Social and Educational Intervention and Policy.
