Project To Focus on Educational Inequality

Distinguished Professor Greg Duncan will be joining Richard Murnane of Harvard University as project co-leader for the Russell Sage and Spencer Foundations' joint sponsorship of a project on educational inequality. Professor Duncan will be replacing Rebecca Blank of Brookings, who was project co-leader prior to her appointment as Undersecretary of Commerce. As project co-leader, Professor Duncan will be devoting his time to coordinating the September and November 2009 conferences, editing the conference volumes, and writing a separate, more accessible book on education-related inequalities. All of this work will be conducted jointly with Professor Murnane.
