Established in recognition of Ms. Roosevelt's contributions to the field of education, the Mary Roosevelt Honor Scholar in Teaching and Learning is awarded to highly qualified students entering the UC Irvine Master of Arts in Teaching, a 15-month program that includes coursework, student teaching, and preparation for the teacher credential.
2011 Mary Roosevelt Honor Scholars
The Promising Future Teacher Award is given to candidates in the Teacher Credential program who have demonstrated through their scholarship and activities a commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of students.
The Ph.D. in Education Fellowship supports a doctoral student's research in one of three specializations: Learning, Cognition, and Development; Educational Policy and Social Context; or Language, Literacy, and Technology.
