EDUC 301
ED 301 begins prior to UCI’s Fall Quarter.  MS candidates must be available for ED 301 Orientation on Friday, August 22 from 8-12, at Mariner's Elementary School in Newport Beach.  Candidates must be at their fieldwork placement sites for the day before instruction begins and the first day of school.  Required first days for fieldwork at public school sites are August 27-28, September 2-3 or September 3-4, depending on school district calendars.  Thereafter, candidates will complete one full day or two half days per week of fieldwork through the week of December 8.  ED 301 class sessions meet in the same time slot as ED 303.

EDUC 302
Single Subject candidates must be available August 18 for the first class session of EDUC 302 at Costa Mesa High School.  EDUC 302 will also meet on September 9, 16, and 23, which are prior to the beginning of the UCI Fall Quarter, and continue weekly throughout the quarter.  Fieldwork at public school sites begins as early as the week of August 25 and includes the day before school and the first day of school.

EDUC 303
ED 303 begins prior to UCI’s Fall Quarter on August 28 or 29 or on September 4 or 5, depending on section and fieldwork placement, and continues through December 11 or 12. Your coordinator will advise you about your first ED 301 fieldwork and ED 301/303 course meeting days.

ED 320 begins prior to UCI’s Fall Quarter and will meet for six sessions.  Sections A and B will meet on September 12, 16, October 10, 24, and November 26 with the 6th session TBA.  Section C will meet on Sept. 19, Oct. 3, 17, 31, and Nov. 13 with the 6th session TBA.
