Introduction to Science and Mathematics Teaching

Start your exploration of science and mathematics teaching with Introduction to Science and Mathematics Teaching.This course is part of the Cal Teach Degree Programs. Community college students may enroll in Cal Teach courses by filing an SB 1914 Cross-Enrollment Authorization Form.

Course Aims

• Gain an understanding of effective, research-based teaching strategies
• Experience mathematics and science teaching in a grade K-5 classroom

Course Requirements

• Minimum of 15 hours of fieldwork to be completed during school hours (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm)
