DOE Hosts Spring Orientation for New and Continuing Master of Arts in Teaching Students
New and continuing MAT Students gathered at Berkeley Place on Saturday, May 10, for orientation to the MAT with Teacher Credential degree. Morning activities included faculty introductions; a review of program requirements and summer coursework; and information about financial support, parking, and other UC Irvine procedures. Two concurrent information sessions were conducted - one for students beginning their first summer of MAT and credential work and one for students completing their second summer of MAT course work prior to receiving their degree in September.
