UNEX Outstanding Service Recognition Follows Years of Service to Education in Orange County
Dennis Evans, Director of the Educational Leadership Development Program and Faculty Graduate Advisor in the Department of Education, was honored for outstanding service by University Extension at the annual UCI Extension Instructor/Advisory Committee Appreciation Breakfast, held at the University Club on December 6th. Dennis has been with UC Irvine for over 20 years, after completing a previous successful career as a high school principal in the Newport-Mesa School District. His contributions at UC Irvine include teaching undergraduate through doctoral level courses in the department and through University Extension; serving as Director of the Administrative Service Credential Program and Project Co-director for the Orange County Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) project, and authoring several books and numerous articles.
